Chinese Valentine’s Day

Today is Qixi Festival (七夕节 qī xī jié), which is also known as Chinese Valentine’s Day (中国情人节). It is the eastern version of the western Valentine’s Day. The festival falls on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month on the Chinese calendar – when the love story of a young cowherd and a beautiful fairy begins. You can find out more about the romance here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qixi_Festival. I guess there is no need to explain what people do on this particular day :) Hope those in love get to celebrate this special day in a romantic and lovely way!
